Business Cards

Standard Business Cards

  • Your card must be designed/set up within the proper guidelines. If there is full color or imagery to the edge then the file needs to have a bleed margin of a 1/4 of an inch total. Final card size is 3.5″ x 2″ with a pre-cut size of 3.75″ x 2.13″. Details below on the correct margins as well as a gallery picture showing the correct measurements.
  • Be sure to select the correct printing sides for your card. IE: Single or Double Sided cards.
  • We only accept PDF files for print.
  • If the order is not placed correctly of if the file is not the correct sizing, we will cancel and refund the order (minus processing fees).
  • Please reach out to us if you have any questions!

Card Design Info: A standard business card size is 3.5″ x 2″. However, if there is full color to the edge, or imagry to the edge, then the card has to be sized larger to account for the bleed. The correct template size with full bleed would be 3.75″ x 2.13″. There is also a safe margin that you want to keep your text within to prevent it being cut off or too close to the edge. Font size should be no smaller than 7pt in size. Anything smaller will be hard to read when printed.
We have an image in the gallery that shows the exact specs of the card, so please look over it and ensure that your file is sized to those exact measurements. We can fix/edit your card to be print ready by adding the bleed, etc. for a $10.00 fee. If you need this done, select “yes” for editing/fixing of your card. If this option is not selected and your file is not correct, we will cancel and refund the order.

When Designing on Canva: There are specific things you need to do when downloading your design from Canva. The first thing is make sure to check the box that says “Show Crop Marks and Bleed”. This is the most important. The second is to ALWAYS select “PDF Print” as the file type to download. We only accept PDF files and since this is going to print, it only makes sense to download that file type. Lastly, if you have the PRO version of Canva, you will want to select CMYK as the color type. CMYK is what all printers use and RBG is for digital/computer screens only. RGB files will still work, but certain colors may look different printed vs. on screen.
As long as you do these things while downloading your file from Canva, everything should be good to go! As always feel free to call or stop by with any questions.

The Rush Fee does NOT APPLY to card orders over 500 in total quantity. That means an order of 2 sets of 500 would = 1000 cards, and therefore would be excluded from the Rush Option.

  • 3.5″ x 2″ finished card size
  • Standard paper type: 16 pt matte card stock, or a 100lb matte/uncoated cardstock
  • Single or double sided printing
  • Premium paper upgrade options available
  • Card quantities are for 1 style of card, and can NOT be broken into multiple cards (Example: An order of 100 cards can not be broken in to 50 cards for 2 different people. Each person would have to get 100, since this is our minimum)
